Retinol and the Three Symptoms of Aging
Fine lines, variable pigmentation, and uneven texture are the three most common symptoms of aging skin. These indications can be treated separately and with great efficacy by chemical peels or high-impact moisturizing complexes. However, these solutions may not be compatible with all skin types or treatment schedules. Retinol provides a median solution to the symptoms of aging that is more convenient than chemical peeling yet more accelerated than a moisturizing complex.

Enhanced Retinol 0.30% has been clinically-tested and is a proven alternative to prescription tretinoin creams.

Retinol and the Treatment of Acne
Though there is already a primary line of KAVI products which addresses the complete pathogenesis of acne, the benefit of retinol as a comedolytic agent cannot be overlooked. By itself, retinol will help to prevent dead skin and excess oil from blocking pores and triggering infections. When used in conjunction with antimicrobial products like Coral KAVI, retinol can play a significant part in an anti-acne treatment plan.



Apply a thin layer of Enhanced Retinol 0.30% directly on the skin once or twice per day after cleansing to stimulate collagen production and open pores. Remember to apply sufficient sunblock on any treated skin that will come into direct contact with the sun.



Following two weeks of daily treatment, the following changes should be observed:

• Reduction in fine lines
• More consistent pigmentation
• Reduction in blackheads and whiteheads
• Improved skin texture
• Strengthened connective tissue



Extended use of Enhanced Retinol 0.30% can dry the skin. If skin becomes dry or inflamed, discontinue use for one week and recommence application at doubled intervals (e.g., if twice per day before, reduce application to once per day).

While most retinol products will destabilize about 60 days after formulation, Enhanced Retinol 0.30% will maintain its potency for 6 months after purchase.
